This summer my husband and I traveled to the East Coast in search of new artists for the shop. We visited with 3 artists and share their talents with you here on this episode.
Marylene Menard and Robert Biron make beautiful sculptures with mosiac additions. They are located in Drummondville Quebec. We carry their Glass mosaic lanterns and Trivets. Beautiful pieces all designed and built by hand in their home studio.
Gwen Buchanan is from Douglas New Brunswick and creates beautiful and whimsical copper earrings. The pieces are all cut, polished and put together by hand. A customer favourite is the “wine glass and book” set of earrings! It was thanks to a customer that we learned about Gwen’s fun work!
Jamie Brown is an artist from Sussex, New Brunswick. His pieces are meant for in the garden. Coated in an epoxy Jamie’s pieces are durable and won’t rust outside. We currently have dragonfly’s, herons, fish and flowers made by this artist.
