Millions of birds are killed each year flying into windows. This time of year, the birds are migrating and generally much busier. They are seeing reflections of trees in glass which makes them think they can fly through. We have options to protect them!
There are the basic black bird stickers. With these, the more the better which can be somewhat obtrusive. We also carry Window Alert decals which reflect ultraviolet sunlight. They look opaque to our eyes, but the birds see them glowing. There are leaves, butterflies, and birds to choose from. These eventually degrade from the sun so should be replaced minimum every four months, depending on the season. All stickers go on the outside of the windows. These work great!
The best and longest lasting option is the Feather Friendly Collision Tape. The cast vinyl square markers have a lifespan of 10+ years and are fast and easy to install.
