At the end of January each year we visit the gift shows in Toronto to seek out new and interesting products for the shop with an eye always towards Canadian made.
This year we saw a fair number of Peterborough artists at this national show. Annie Scherz from reVerra glass, Blake Richardson with his “Earth art” and Lisa Martini-Dunk of L’Immaginaria. Great to see some local artists attending this show!
We will be adding a new artist to the shop. Alan Dhingra. He creates very interesting work with maps as the background. We’ll have cards and magnets in the shop very soon.
These map gifts will also be customizable if you have a particular lake, city or area you’d like to see.
