Garden Gate: Episode 140 – Intricate Greeting cards with guest Heather Nisbett

On this episode of The Garden Gate Brenda chat’s with Heather Nisbett from “Intricate greetings” about this beautiful and fascinating item now available in the shop!

A couple years ago, Heather and her husband embarked on a holiday to Vietnam, excited to experience the culture, scenery, history and food, and they were not disappointed! They had an amazing time, saw many gorgeous natural and man made sites, met lots of many wonderful people and gained an appreciation for a beautiful country.

While shopping at the markets full of lovely, artistic goods, they came across these wonderful 3D pop-up greeting cards. Heather bought a few cards and thought they were so beautiful that they returned to buy more the next day. When Heather and her husband got chatting with the vendor, she told them that she’s a second generation maker of the cards and has a small family run business that designs and produces the cards. They got her information to keep in touch and when they got home and did some more research to ensure that their employees are treated ethically.

When Heather showed the cards to people at home, their response was amazement, most people had never seen anything like them.

They wanted to share these lovely cards with people while supporting a fair trade family business, so they decided to go for it and placed an order. And so began their “Intricate Greetings” business!

They love to see the smile on people’s faces when they open the pop-up cards!

There are a wide variety of cards available for birthdays, new babies, anniversary’s, golfers, cyclists and so much more.

Drop by the shop to see the variety and to test the cards out yourself!
